This privacy notice applies to SmartShop (“the service”). We process account registration information and connection logs for authentication and application access management purposes and to enable the availability and performance of the application. We also use cookies as provided in our Data Privacy & Cookie Policy. Account registration information is shared with other Lauritz Knudsen Electrical & automation affiliates who provide applications to which you register in order to enable you to navigate through these applications seamlessly without having to authenticate again, nor to input account registration already provided for an application and needed for another application. These applications will use the information in accordance with their own privacy notices. Auth0, the provider of this authentication application, provides safeguards for personal information transferred outside of the EEA under the EU Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. We will keep personal information as long as needed for the processing purposes, mainly as long as accounts are maintained by their users. If accounts are deleted or inactive, personal information will be archived in accordance with our data retention policy taking into consideration statute of limitations and legal requirements. If you prefer to exclude your registration and connection information from statistical calculations of active users/visitors/recipients for all our services and communications, you may change your preference at any time through your user profile.

Who do we share personal information with and where is it processed?
Personal information will be processed by our affiliates and suppliers involved in the provision of the services and in the performance of the purposes described in Section 3. Our affiliates and suppliers provide service including hosting and maintenance, performance monitoring and security. As we are a global company, teams and suppliers may have global or multi-country roles, and they can be located anywhere in the world, in countries with different privacy standards than the country of our customers.
We have internal policies applied by our affiliates and we conclude contracts with our suppliers to ensure appropriate safeguards. Our group has adopted Binding Corporate Rules (BCR). In addition, we conclude Standard Contractual Clauses and rely on EU Commission’s adequacy decisions. Google Analytics features are used to understand how often functionalities are used.
How do we secure personal information?
We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect personal information and we maintain appropriate administrative, technical and physical safeguards to protect it against accidental or unlawful destruction, accidental loss and unauthorized alteration.
However, no method of transmission over the internet or of electronic storage is 100% secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee absolute security.
